Festival Grounds Know Before You Go

Please note that events at our Festival Grounds are outdoor. No re-entry is permitted at any time for any of these events.

PARKING + RIDESHARE

For AFI on Saturday, September 19:

This show is an outdoor event. There is no parking at or around the venue. Do not park at any of our surrounding lots, as you car may be towed. 

Free parking is being offered at Orange Coast College on 2701 Fairiview Rd (Entrance on Fairview and Merrimac Way only) with free complimentary shuttle services provided to and from the venue. All guests will be directed to Lot C upon arrival. Parking lots will open at 3:00pm with shuttle services beginning promptly at 3:30pm. Shuttle services will be available for 45 minutes after the show.

ADA parking is available at Orange Coast College and our shuttles are ADA accessible. Please ask a staff member on-site to assist you.

Allow ample time when commuting to our Festival Grounds from Orange Coast College. Our shuttles transport at an interval of roughly every 15 to 20 minutes. Early arrival is strongly encouraged.

ACCESSIBILITY

For AFI on Saturday, September 19:

ADA parking is available at Orange Coast College and our shuttles are ADA accessible. Please ask a staff member on-site to assist you.

Our Festival Grounds shows are general admission standing events that involve considerable standing for many attendees. Guests in need of ADA assistance will have a designated, elevated viewpoint located to the right side of the stage that offers optimal viewing of the show. Our ADA section is first come, first serve; early arrival is strongly encouraged. Upon your arrival, please speak with an employee for further assistance. If you have purchased reserved, ADA-accessible tickets online, you do not need to follow our "first come, first serve" policy. 

If you are hard of hearing and require an ASL interpreter, email us at ObservatoryOCInfo@livenation.com and include how many in your party need interpretation and the ticket type you have. The Observatory offers sign language interpretation upon request only.

REQUESTS FOR INTERPRETERS MUST BE RECEIVED AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT DATE. Interpretation requests are subject to the availability of an interpreter.

Service animals are welcome with proper documentation.

ARRIVE EARLY

For AFI on Saturday, September 19:

Early arrival is strongly encouraged. Join us an hour before doors for our "Dancing Through Saturday" pre-show party to beat the lines and get the party started.

COAT CHECK

Coat check is located past the main entrance near the train tracks. Please follow signage or refer to our site map.

CASHLESS EVENT

With the exception of our merch stand, we've gone cashless! We accept credit, debit, or mobile pay. Got cash? Convert your cash to a prepaid debit card with no fees at our coat check or our General Store.

BAG POLICY

Backpacks are not allowed. Empty, plastic hydration packs are allowed. Bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 are allowed. All bags will be subject to additional search.

• No guns, knives, weapons, pepper spray, projectiles of any kind, or any other item that could be used to inflict harm
• No large, oversized bags/backpacks, luggage, duffel bags, or industrial/camping-sized backpacks larger than 12 x 6 x 12 
• No replicas of any type of weapon
• No drugs, drug paraphernalia, or illegal substances of any kind
• No coolers, ice chests, or open containers of any kind
• No glass containers, cans, or aluminum water containers
• No animals (service animals allowed with proper documentation) 
• No strollers, skateboards, or bicycles
• No large metal key chains
• No wallet chains or chain accessories
• No wagons or scooters
• No air horns
• No frozen water bottles
• No promotional items (flyers, samples)
• No laser pointers
• No fireworks
• No blankets or pillows
• No matches
• No markers or pens
• No umbrellas
• No beach balls
• No outside food or drinks, including alcohol
• No personal video cameras, Go-Pros, selfie sticks, drones, masks, or laser pointers
• No professional audio, video, or audio recording equipment - (including detachable lenses, tripods, selfie sticks, zooms, or commercial-use rigs)
• No unsealed liquids or gels of any kind
• No jewelry or clothing that could inflict harm
• No full face masks
• No stuffed animals or toys of any kind
• No lawn chairs
